Blog week 8

Starting to construct our website
I firstly created the framework of html and decorated it with css and javascript
with google map API integrated in it

When i got to the contact session, i surprisingly found that ... my teammate did the same thing as i did. AND we decided to improve our team work efficiency -- use online development platform

We chose bitbucket as our platform provider, mainly because it's used by one of our teammates and the tutor suggested it as well.
It really is so hard to start using the platform. It took us the whole two hours to establish the file structure on the platform.
At first we argued if we should waste time establish the platform, because by distributing job to different people we can totally work out as well. But by the end, we chose this modern way of development because we believe this is what we will be using in the future anyway, and this experience can contribute to our skill sets.
And we used Source Tree as our local application to connect to the bitbucket.

Reflection:
We should always try to learn modern development tools as they can greatly enhance our efficiency.
Team communication is also important -- to avoid such error that we did the same job.
